HSR Audit & Tax Inc. wants every person to be able to read this site, find the office, and contact us. This page says what we have done, what still falls short, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the W3C, describe how to make web content usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, including people who use screen readers, people who navigate by keyboard, people with low vision, and people who are sensitive to motion.

What this site does

Uses semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) so screen readers can jump between regions.
Has one H1 heading per page, with H2 and H3 headings in order below it.
Provides a skip link at the top of every page that goes straight to the main content.
Shows a visible focus outline on every link, button, and form field when you move through the page with a keyboard.
Keeps text contrast at or above 4.5 to 1 against its background.
Labels every form field, and ties each error message to the field it belongs to so assistive technology reads them together.
Makes the navigation, including the mobile menu, fully operable by keyboard.
Respects your reduced motion setting. If your device asks for less motion, the site turns off smooth scrolling and animation.
Allows text to be resized to 200 percent in your browser without loss of content or function.
Gives every image a text alternative.

Known limitations

We know of the following gaps and are stating them plainly:

The map is a picture. The map of our location is a static image, not an interactive map. Its text alternative states the address and cross streets, and the full address, 6755 Tampa Ave, Reseda, CA 91335, is also given in text next to it and linked to directions. If you need the location another way, call us and we will describe it.
Pages we do not control. Links to Google Maps, and the Cloudflare Turnstile check on the contact form, open or run content made by other companies. We cannot change how accessible those pages or widgets are. If Turnstile blocks you from sending the form, call or email us instead.

How to report a problem

If any part of this site is hard to use, tell us. You can:

Visit in person at 6755 Tampa Ave, Reseda, CA 91335, on Tampa Ave just south of Vanowen St. Visits are by appointment.

We aim to respond within five business days. Where we can fix the problem, we will. Where we cannot, we will give you the information or service another way.

If you cannot use the website

Nothing on this site is available only online. Everything you can do here, including asking a question, learning our fees, and setting a time to meet, can be done by phone. Office visits can be arranged by appointment for anyone who cannot use the website. Call (818) 401-7468 and we will set a time.
