3. Engagement terms are in the engagement letter

That letter states the scope of the work, the fee, what you must provide, how we handle your records, and how either side can end the engagement. The engagement letter controls. If anything on this site conflicts with your engagement letter, the letter governs.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

Nothing on this site promises a particular refund, tax liability, audit result, filing date, or other outcome. Results depend on your facts, the law in effect, and the actions of the IRS, the California Franchise Tax Board, and other agencies, none of which we control. Any examples on the site are illustrations, not predictions.
