Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have. It applies to the website only. Tax records you give us as a client are covered by a separate engagement letter.

Effective date: October 28, 2026

Who we are

HSR Audit & Tax Inc. is a tax preparation and accounting firm. It is a California corporation, entity number 5919529, incorporated on September 26, 2023. The firm is led by Romelia C. Aguilar, President.

Our office is at 6755 Tampa Ave, Reseda, CA 91335-5015. You can reach us by phone at (818) 401-7468 or by email at info@hsraudittax.com. HSR Audit & Tax Inc. is the business responsible for the information described in this policy.

What the contact form collects

The contact form on this site asks for the following:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • What you need help with (a choice from a short list)
  • Your preferred contact method (phone or email)
  • An optional message

We ask for these items so we can reply to you, reach you the way you prefer, and know which service you are asking about before we call. We do not use the form to build marketing lists. If you leave the optional message blank, nothing else is collected.

Submitting the form does not make you a client. A client relationship begins only when both sides sign an engagement letter.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile checks that a real person, not an automated script, is submitting the form. To do this, Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser signals such as device and browser characteristics. Cloudflare handles that data under its own policy, which you can read at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. We do not receive the raw signals. We receive only a pass or fail result that lets the form submit.

Analytics and cookies

We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used. Both report totals, such as how many people visited a page. Neither tells us who you are.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies in your browser to count visits and recognize repeat visits. We have turned on IP anonymization, so Google shortens your IP address before it is stored. Google's handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. It records page views and load times.

Beyond these two tools, the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

How form submissions reach us

When you submit the contact form, the site sends the contents to our office by email through a transactional email provider, Resend. Resend transmits the message and keeps delivery logs for a limited time under its own terms. At the same time, an automatic confirmation email is sent to the address you entered, so you know the form went through. If you entered the wrong address, that confirmation will go to the wrong place, so please check your email before you submit.

Replies you send to the confirmation email, or to any message from our office, are handled as ordinary business email.

What you must never send through the site or by email

Do not submit tax documents, Social Security numbers, bank or credit card numbers, or account numbers through the contact form or by email. The form is not built for that, and email is not a secure channel for it.

When we work together, we provide a secure method for sending documents and sensitive numbers. We will explain that method at the start of the engagement. If you have already sent something sensitive through the form or by email, call the office at (818) 401-7468 and we will delete it and tell you how to resend it safely.

How long we keep form submissions

Form submissions are business correspondence. We keep them for up to 12 months from the date you submit, and then delete them. If you become a client, the records you give us are kept according to your engagement letter and the retention periods required by federal and California law, which are longer.

No sale or sharing for advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross context behavioral advertising. We do not trade contact lists. The only parties that handle your website information are the service providers named in this policy (Cloudflare, Google, and Resend), each of which acts on our instructions and under its own published terms.

We may disclose information when the law requires it, for example in response to a valid subpoena or a request from a government agency with authority to make it.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you certain rights over your personal information:

  • Right to know. You can ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
  • Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions, such as records we must keep under tax law.
  • Right to correct. You can ask us to fix personal information that is inaccurate.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and add an opt out link before doing so.
  • Right to nondiscrimination. We will not treat you differently, refuse service, or charge a different price because you used any of these rights.

To use any of these rights, email info@hsraudittax.com, call (818) 401-7468, or write to HSR Audit & Tax Inc., 6755 Tampa Ave, Reseda, CA 91335-5015. You may also have an authorized agent make the request for you.

We verify every request before we act on it. Verification usually means matching the name, email, and phone number on the request to the information we already hold, and may include a short call to confirm. We respond within the time the law allows, which is generally 45 days.

Note that most of what we hold about clients is tax return information. Those records are subject to separate rules, described below, and deletion requests for them may be limited by federal and state record keeping requirements.

Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 through the site. If you believe a minor has submitted the contact form, contact us and we will delete the submission.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, including Google Maps, the IRS, the California Franchise Tax Board, and the California Secretary of State. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not control them and this policy does not cover them. Read their policies before entering any information.

Tax return information

This policy covers the website. It does not govern the tax return information you give us as a client. That information is protected by Internal Revenue Code section 7216, related Treasury regulations, and California law. Under those rules we may not use or disclose your tax return information except as the law permits or as you authorize in writing. How we collect, store, and protect that information is set out in your engagement letter, not in this policy.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, our service providers, or the law change. The effective date at the top of the page shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will post a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the updated policy.
